Make It - Subject One - Coffee Mug

So this is Part III - which concludes the three part challenge of Subject One our Coffee Mugs.

So this is the week that you will take your picture and your thoughts and combine them in some way. Whether it be a traditional scrapbook page, a daily addition to your own personal journal , a blog entry with the two, a mini album, a daily card, or something for your house. Try to create something that joins the two together.

There are no time restraints, and there is no pressure. I'm not for that. Also, you won't upload your final creation into the Overlooked Flickr Group. (The Group is solely for Part I)

Just upload your project (if you wish) to the online gallery of your choosing and if you want to share your Part III love - then leave a link to the what you have created and post it in the comments section of this entry.

My creative challenge to you is:
Make a Coffee Ring directly ON your page.
(again...just a suggestion -its completely optional)

Somehow, someway make a coffee ring directly onto your project.

I will be back later this week with my layout, a pretty simple (but rad) idea, and a little giveaway.

Check these fun things out...

Recycled Gift Cards
Embroidered Coffee Sleeves

ps.

umm do i see 334 members?!
holy guacamole.

I've loved doing this - something different, no pressure and loved seeing all the photo's - now looking forward to seeing the creations whatever they may be.
I did my LO before the prompt - I suppose you could say the circle behind the word Mug is like a coffee ring!
Here is my LO - have used a pagemap from www.pagemap.com

Roll on the next challenge

This was fun fun fun lol I did put a coffee ring on the layout but it disappeared in the journaling, i guess it wasn't dark enough.I concentrated on the actual coffee, i am such a addict .I have loaded it on my blog.thanks for the challenge and looking forward to doing more.

Love, love, loooove this blog!!!
I'd like to share one LO I did before discovering this blog:
http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/201555/view/1155043/-1/0/1.html
It shows my favorite "Coffee Mug", which is actually a "Cappuccino Mug".
Thanks to the inspiration you gave me, I'm going to do another LO about my #2 favorite mug: the little plastic mug (... do you call it "mug" anyway?... mmm, don't know ... see my pic "pausa caffè")where I use to drink my espresso during my break at work.
Every posted project is gorgeous!!! Congrats ladies!!!

I hardly ever (make that never) do challenges...but i love this concept and the fact that it can be as simple or complex as you want it to be...haven't figure out the whole flickr thing...I'm sure it's easy...but i will have to try to do that next time around.

For now...just took a shot with a blog post.

Here's my blog post: 01 Coffee Mug

Danielle said...

I know I'm being a pain. But is there anyway we can make another flickr group for the finished projects. I love this project but there's no way I have the time to sit here and look through 325 different links. it would be great to have it all in the one spot.

I have been looking around some of these - they are great, very inspirational, mine doesnt quite standup to the rest but I am pleased with it...you can see it here

What a great idea. I just took some weird pics of my coffee cups and altered the color & light with software...Later I'll try makng a page with a coffee ring! Now I want to go look at some examples.
Thanks! I love your blog.

Mrs Pretzel said...

I did it!! Thanks for a great low key challenge!! CLICK HERE to see my page! I used pink Glimmer Mist to make my coffee ring on my page!

Mrs Pretzel said...

PS
I agree with Dani Luigi. I wouldn't mind either everyone loading their finished projects to the original group, or being part of a second one. It's going to be REALLY hard to keep up with everyone this way.

I even remembered to use a coffee stain, LOVE how that enhances the page! I'm going to make these pages into a 5" x 5" Shutterfly photobook.

Thanks so much for this challenge, I'm looking forward to the next one!

I also would love a flickr group for the layouts, but if not can someone help me with leaving a link to my blog so you can just click. I'm blogging with Typepad and haven't figured out how to add a link in Blogger.
Thanks.
